We also support One Great Hour of Sharing and Peace Offerings.
One Great Hour of Sharing supports the Presbyterian Hunger Program (36%), Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (32%), and Self-Development of People (32%) enabling them to bring the joy and love of Christ to some of the most vulnerable and desperate people and places around the world.
One of the life-changing grassroots programs is Huerto de la Familia (The Family Garden) which is supported by the Presbyterian Hunger Program. Huerto de la Familia strives to cultivate community integration and economic self-sufficiency through training in organic farming and the development of food-based small businesses.
Brookwood members contribute to One Great Hour of Sharing through offerings taken during the month of April each year.
